HOW TO FOCUS ON YOUR BUSINESS EVEN HAVING A.D.D.


You are told that key to achieve any goal is LASER-FOCUS on your actions…. How about if like me, you have Attention Deficit Disorder symptoms ? Ha !


And don’t worry, it’s not just young generations that are concerned.


I’m a « lady-boomer » , full menopaused and closer to my 60 ties than the 50ties…..
Well, if you are not sure what is ADD, give an eye to the definition in Wikipedia.


So, with that A.D.D. gift of the Universe, how do I manage to achieve my goals and laser focus on any thing that I need to focus on ?


I’m giving you here my 5 best tricks , and that I finally selected and that work for me, after I tried for years many …. excuses , in order to feed my A.D.D. symptoms.


Trick # 1 to laser focus : what ever is the action, and how ever it has to last, BREAK UP YOUR TASKS IN SHORT PERIODS OF TIME.


You cannot go against nature : you know that as A.D.D. person you need to be doing things for short time at once, and you need variety :
Organize your work, or your tasks in this way, and don’t try to function on a mode that frustrates your natural behavior.


Instead, use this gift, as I call it now, in the way that it serves you, and master it.


Hint : I say well : ” master ” , not to confuse with ” control “.  As control , when too much forced, ends up with  loss of control. OK ?


Anyway, you cannot control outside things nor people, so master yourself , that’s way enough .


Trick #2 to laser focus : ELIMINATE DISTRACTIONS AROUND YOUR SPACE OF ACTION ,


In other words, declutter your space, your room, your desk, before you start any task in this environement. That will put away from you the temptation to jump too early on another thing to do !


Having a clear and sober desk has helped me a lot to concentrate on only what’s in front of me.
That’s so simple.


But not easy for A.D.D. people, because we strongly tend to live among a certain disorder, even organized.
So that has been first a good exercise of DISCIPLINE to me, make it an habit to start any task in a clear decluttered space.


Trick # 3 to laser focus : PLAN your days . and even your week, on a sheet of PAPER and stick it on your wall or on your desk .

Plan for « A.D.D. action taker » schedule. Once again, use your natural tendancy to your profit :
Diversify your work, use 30 to 50 min maximum chunks of time.


Between each chunk of time, do something relaxing if you are very active like yard cleaning, or something active if you are static like working at your computer.


Always plan for being able to finish a long task on the same day that you started it.
And do it in the same raw of chunks of time , if possible.


Example : a task that takes 3 hours can be divided in 4 parts of 48 min, with 3 breaks of 10 min each.



Writing your daily schedule on a paper is important for you to visualize it first and program it into your subconscious, as well as it helps you to check along the day that you are on the right track with what you do. ADD people need reminders to call them back to what they have to continue on.


Trick # 4 to laser focus USE A TIMER, like a cooking timer, to help you in this « TIME MANAGEMENT » challenge for A.D.D.


First that frees you from surveying the clock .
Second, that may sound stupid, but this is to stop you from going on during a too long period of time , before your efficiency slows down.


Yes, you’ll do it as well,, you want to continue the task and you get less attentive to it and make mistakes. This is natural and it will happen, and it did already !


I swear you, the A.D.D. person can FOCUS efficiently on a single subgect no more than 50 minutes, that’s a rule.


So don’t even try do make it one hour even.
You’ll be wasting 10 minutes… your choice buddies.
Use a timer, select 15, 20, 30 , 40 , 50 minutes runs, not more.


Trick # 5 to laser focus : do at least 5 different things , or do the same thing 5 different ways in a day.

Use your imagination and your creativity, that is a game for ADD person.
That must sound quite obvious to you, but it’s not always the reality : we want to focus one ONE THING AT A TIME, and we want to FINISH what we start the same day. And we want to make that happen not against our nature, but with our abilities.


Never get bored by what you do.


How’s that boomers ?


For those who are NOT ADDs, that is NOT my recommendation, as those ways of scheduling their time won’t fit their abilities, like naturally concentrating on what they do.


So to cultivate the skill of LAZER FOCUS, with your A.D.D. « on » :


make those 5 tricks your habits :


1 = Break up your time, 2= Clear the runway , 3 = have your plan written on paper,
4 = use a timer, 5 = do 5 different things or 5 different ways of doing things at least, in one day.

Law of Attraction in Pure Joy!

All that you can want : your personal image to shine,


elevate your relationship,


feel great ,


abundance flowing,


Just implement those next simple tips , creating an environment that exudes love, abundance, success, peace and happiness…..


First review the ten first tips that we published yesterday, to manifest the Law of attraction in your home and office, where ever you live and work,


Then take notes of the 10 last ones and do your assignment , written at the end of the post as you did yesterday.


11- Choose a color that you love to paint your bedroom, but not white, and a stimulating color for your office, but not bright-red!


12- The furniture has to be with curved edges, not pointed and sharp corners. If so, soften the edges with fabrics or runners.
In a meeting in some one else’s office, avoid sitting face to a corner of the table or the desk.


13- Keep as much as possible healthy plants in your home, that helps to circulate the energy. Be sure to have plants near your computer and TV screens.


14- Make sure that all the plumbing throughout your home and office is working perfectly. Nothing leaky or running water…If water leaks from ceiling, fix it immediately


15- Make sure all light bulbs are in working order in all rooms, and that each room has the proper lightning. bright enough. Place mirrors on walls where they can multiply the light in a dark room.


16.- Place mirrors so that the tallest person in the house can see his/her entire head.

Hang artwork around your home and office, that you love: it really impacts you on a subconscious level, which is more powerful than the conscious on


17- Others things you love are what you want to surround yourself with, , as well as items that represent health and vitality. The “Law of Attraction in Motion” color for good health is yellow.  Pets also are great energy enhancers to have around the home.


18-  The different rooms of the house need to be painted with different colors, so that the energy flows easy. It creates feelings of starkness and depression when all the room are white or beige or even the same color.


19-  Get rid of : the microwave – it kills the nutrients in food, + re-mix them in toxic molecules- never put baby food to warm in the microwave, it’s cancerogene , through proteines de-structured -

also get rid of all clutter in your living spaces, all clutter in your life, and all dirty  and dusty things around you. ….even people like that….

dust, dirt,clutter, negative people are all intoxicating our beings and our life.


20- Accept yourself , love yourself as you are. Be grateful for what you have. Whatch your thoughs.

Focus on beauty, harmony, see them everywhere, show them everywhere. What you focus on expands.



Law of Attraction: Put it in Motion!

VIDEO tips Series. tip #6 : consistent focused action

I started to have fun marketing the day I realized and decide that I’d focus and be consistent.
These focus and consistency means you have to take action day after day after day after day.








To keep focused, you want to choose a total of 5 marketing methods maximum :
And stay focus on it.
1 or 2 « High Volume » methods : Banner advertising, CPA marketing, PPC on FB, not Google.

2 or 3 « supplemental lead generation » methods like article marketing, video-marketing, SM marketing, blogging, free ads, press-release..

if on a budget, choose FB PPC, Social Media, Video-marketing. They are my 3 top ones.

Do not do that mistake that is very current and very big :



Give up too soon on your ad campaigns.
If not enough leads during some time, be patient, and look what it is that worked to bring you the few leads that you got,

See this one thing that you can make better, use it and keep doing that weekly.
Optimize continually.
That’s how you create massively successful campaigns.

How to Make Change in Your Life

When it comes to make a change in your life, there is a saying that rings so true to any sensitive brain: “What Ever You Focus On – You Will Attract In Your Life”.






This is the introduction to an e-mail that a member of my business and mastermind team is sending to his patients-customers. I found it so true and simple and valuable that I want to share it here with you: thank you to Dr. Kyle Gilmour.



Whether physical, emotional, professional or personal – focus is a key part of state management. (Simply said, state management controls how we perceive and react to any situation).



In order to change focus and manage your state, there must be daily rituals.



Here are 4 of my TOP FAVORITE RITUALS that have helped transform my life, starting with my day:



1.  Exercise. Everybody knows that exercise stimulates the release of “feel good” chemicals such as endorphins. Exercise relaxes the body and reduces stress allowing you to clearly focus on that which you want to achieve.



2.  Nutrition. Start the day off with a  protein shake after your workout, a fish oil supplement and a healthy breakfast which includes fruits, fresh juices and fiber.



3. Threshold Rules. I learned from Tony Robbins years ago – you must create a “personal code of conduct” or” guidelines” on how you would want conduct your life. These threshold rules allow me to avoid vices and focus on my virtues. These would include guidelines on nutrition, exercise, drinking habits, personal development, family time vs. work balance etc.



4.  Positive Mindset. I start every day with 10-15 minutes of morning meditation – to manifest that which I want in my day. Never allow anything negative – such as news, people, or events to influence your emotional state. I’m a firm believer that “he who controls his emotional state over people and events…WINS”.

SECRETS TO GROW YOUR BUSINESS WITH SUCCESS Part1

The 3Fs : Focus and Feelings determine your Future



We enter our second month of our best year ever : 2010, and you must have now your goals written down, your strategies planed, and implementation started!



On your way to grow your business, like many entrepreneurs, you face challenges: not only, the one to focus on your goal, your vision, but also the one to focus on the wrong thing, the things you don’t want, trying to avoid them!
That leads you to anger, frustration, and worse, it keeps you stuck there!



This is the reason why many entrepreneurs fail: they focus on what they don’t want, what need to be “fixed” , what needs to change. And you know that what you put your attention on grow stronger in your life.
And the more you feel it, the more it manifests.
Well, we never repeat enough those principles, the law of attraction.

So your Future is determined by: what you Focus on, what you Feel , as you focus on this, I call that the rule of the 3Fs.

How can you shift your focus? Several tools and techniques, which are tought in self-development courses , like the iLearning Global products, but today I want to give you some tips to help you start focusing, and focus on the right things.

The first one is: create your strategic plan, print it on a card, and keep it handy, as a permanent reminder with you. It will help to maintain the right focus and right feelings.

Second tip : a little but powerful exercice, on a simple sheet of paper.
On one side of the page, write down everything that’s wrong about an area you’re concerned with. On the other side, write down the solution , or what would make the wrong become right.
For instance: “ I’m often overwhelmed with my tasks” on one side, can become, on the other side “I’m always organized with my tasks” and you visualize and feel this desired outcome.

If you do this exercise each time you see that you go away from focusing, you’ll start to really attract your future success.

This works for entrepreneurs who grow their business, as well as for your personal life, in all areas of growth and improvement.
