Do you use a vision-board, do you write goals for your business, do you plan to fail (= fail to plan) in your marketing ?

I personally struggled in starting marketing on line, as being first overwhelmed : I was curious about so many things, in internet businesses, that I was like swimming in an ocean of information, and not even conscious of I was multitasking, multisurfing, and not going anywhere really. So I realised I was not clear about what I wanted, as I wanted it all at once !
When this happens to you, you need to have first a clear vision about what you want your project to look like.
This is regarding not only your marketing business, but also anything that you want to build in your life.
Giving clarity to my wants is what helped me to get out of struggling in my businesses.
How can you implement this right away ? How to create your vision ?

Here is the method I used, and still use for any new project that I have : take now these 3 simple steps :

First – Find your “Why” : be clear on the reasons that pushes you into what you do. This first step is very important to achieve, as it will help you on every others steps of your plan. You will use your Why kept in mind each time you start an action that is supposed to lead you towards your goals.

Second– Do this simple exercise : Take 3 minutes and imagine the story of you, in 5 years time from today, which you tell to a friend. You describe him your project, how you are planning to realize it, and what will be the result , describing all the details : the locations, the colors , the sizes, the brands of the car, watch, clothes you wear, the persons you are with …..

Third- Write it down : write your story and put pictures on it : this is your vision . And you have already started to achieve it.
