HOW TO STOP PROCRASTINATION FOR GOOD!

Do you feel like a mice in the wheel?

running around and around and around and around?

and still in the same place by the end of the run ?

I’ve been feeling so recently, when I hit that video below , that showed me what was my issue :
For any reason, this past week, I decided to « go with the flow » , and not fight the obstacles that where showing up one after each other :

I decided to STOP PROCRASTINATION.

You’ll understand what I mean when you see that so hilarious video, . Then I’ll tell you what I did……

If you recognize yourself , even for a 2 % of it, in this video about how to stop procrastination, then you are in big trouble already in your Empower Network business!

Why ?

Because the key to your success with Empower Network is Consistency, Daily Action.
Because non stop procrastination is the more powerful killer attitude , killer of dreams.

so what did I do in order to stop this procrastination ?

I did 4 very simple things :

First :
I RECOGNIZED that I was falling into the trap of constant, non stop procrastination, looking back at myself with objectivity = no excuses,
and finding out what was the reason why I would neglect my own decisions to succeed with Empower Network.

Why do we do things that go against ourselves ? Find the reasons and you get your solutions !
For me, that week, it was mainly because of the fear that I would not be appreciated by people, if I dare to say too many « no’s « to their kind sollicitations.

Result was : a real plan to stop procrastination, so that I leave people and things distract me for their profit….

Second :

after I recognize my attitude, I MADE THE DECISION to do ALL the necessary actions ,
in order to change this attitude that entails not only the means to stop procrastination, but also many hard consequences that I cannot afford…..

For example : loosing prospects by not doing blogging and marketing daily, loosing money, loosing self-confidence and feeling bad and worse for all that……yack yack yack !

Doesn’t this seem too expensive really, when you think that people love you for who you are, more than for what you do ? hey,
Hello !

Third :

then I took a sheet a sheet of paper, a red thick ball pen, and draw a big cross on the word written in black : procrastination.

Under that, I LISTED ALL THE ACTIONS that I need to take today to stop procrastination, kill it, beat it, shoot it, squeeze it, eliminate it, atomise it, smurph it …..you git it. and put a check mark in front of each thing in the list,
AND allowed my self to do anything else ONLY when all the things are checked.

I love my lists

On my list were, among others actions :

- stick on my wall a beautiful sign, saying in beautiful letters :
« Today, I am doing WHAT EVER IT TAKES to REACH MY GOALS WITH MY EMPOWER NETWORK BUSINESS. »

- make some enlarged copies of the pictures representing my WHY’s to improve my dream board.

- start a tracking chart, on my agenda, for my daily results, in terms of leads acquired, and of numbers of sales.

- Change my DMO into an easier schedule in order to implement it 100% , banishing all elements that prevent my effort to stop procrastination.

And others actions inspired by those lessons .

Remember : You want to change NOT WHAT you do, but HOW you do it.

Fourth :
I TAKE ACTION, IMPLEMENT all my changes, SCREW IT , DO IT !

Love surfing!

And stay vigilant to finish each action started, before I start an other one.
That is as well very efficient to stop procrastination definitely.

Write Your Online Business Plan with Empower Network in Less Than One Hour

Why write an Online Business Plan ?

Jim Rohn , you know Jim Rohn, one of the most famous and best business teacher , said :
Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail.

so I prefer to plan my Online Business , and plan a fun life of it !

That said, how do you write your online business plan, fast enough to not fall into the “prepare to be prepared to be ready to be prepared…. ” Ha !

Follow those steps , and you’ll get your online business plan ready in less than one hour, and specifically « implementable » to your Empower Network Business !

1 – You want to define your Target Market.

I gave you for that some best tips in a previous post , go see here : and keep in mind that your customers are the ones who will give you their money….
Not any one else than them, nor anything else.
Just think about what this entails.
Then do number

2- Describe the product or service that you will sell :

That gives the background to your online business plan , it needs details, and has to say WHY there is a demand of it in the market place.

TIP : more important than your online business plan : the quality of the product is Paramount.
If your product or service does not meet the quality that the customer expects, your business will never succeed.

3- Have a written SMART goal, for your online business, or the plan won’t lead anywhere.
How can you make a plan if you have no destination ? Tell me if you have an idea, that could be a new concept for the industry LOL.

4 - Write down the date and the amount of money you want to get at this date,
write down the profit per month that this requires, and how many customers and sales this profit requires.

I’ll tell you the example of such an online business plan, that you’ll be able to realize with your Empower Network business, AND your own others online products.

5 – Write down your marketing strategies list, and tools list for your marketing,

that is a plan itself inside your online business plan.

Choose 2 strategies that you can easily and fast start with, and master them. Then, when you master 2, pic a third one, master it, etc…

6- In this Online Business Plan include the very important strategy of re-investing 20% of your profit into some paid marketing.

7 – Check your results often and regularly, modify in your online marketing plan what needs to be changed or improved, and rince and repeat !

And congratulate yourself for each step achieved, there is no little victory for your own creation and good work !

Now, HOW do you implement your online business Plan as explained above,

A : with your Empower Network Blogging System and Affiliate business ,

Lets make the maths : only that tells you your way , the maths are your guide, your spy, and your concrete evidence of success.

I found in one of the posts of a great leader in Empower Network, Amy Starr Allen, an example of the maths :

And you know of course that Empower Network is a Blogging system, that means you work on and with Content.

For this example, she assumes that each piece of optimized content you create will generate 1 lead per day.

And also that you are collecting leads for the Empower Network for the sake of this example.

“ Let’s say, over time you create 100 pieces of content , that is the challenge that we take when we start our 100 first days, following our online business plan.
and each one piece is generating 1 lead/day (in reality, when you’re using content marketing strategies, some pieces of content will produce several leads/day and some will generate none…

we are just going to use the 1 lead/day per piece of content in this example to keep the numbers simple so that you can understand how powerful content marketing strategies can be).

100 pieces of content x 1 lead per day = 100 leads per day

This is on autopilot.

Once the content has been created and published using content marketing strategies, it will stay on the internet forever and will continue to generate leads, for free, day after day after day.

So now let’s say these leads you’re generating are going into your Empower Network funnel. Now let’s keep it ultra conservative and say that only 1% of your leads convert into Empower Network sales (my numbers are actually much higher than this).
100 leads x 1% = 1 sale/day = 30 sales/month

Inside of the Empower Network there are a few different products that people can buy. ($25/month, $100/month, $250 one-time, and $500 one-time).

So, out of the 30 sales/month, let’s say all of them (30) buy the $25/month product, 9 upgrade to the $100/month product, 3 upgrade to the $250 one-time product, and 3 upgrade to the $500 one-time product.

Here’s what that would look like for the first month:
30 x $25 month = $750/month residual income
30 x $25 month = $750/month residual income
9 x $100/month = $900/month residual income
3 x $250 one-time purchase = $750
3 x $500 one-time purchase = $1500

This equates to a total of $3900 for the month and $1650 of it is residual income.
Month 2 -> $3900 + $1650 residual created in month 1 = $5550
Month 3 -> $3900 + $1650 residual created in month 1 + $1650 residual created in month 2 = $7200

Get it?
Your monthly income using content marketing strategies in this example would continue to increase by $1650/month (of course some people might cancel their Empower Network membership over time, but the numbers would still remain pretty awesome… especially considering this would all be happening on complete autopilot).

RETIREMENT PLAN FOR LADY-BOOMERS

MOMS, DO YOU WANT TO RETIRE AND SPOIL YOUR FAMILY, CELEBRATE THE NEW YEAR WITH A JOYFUL VISION

I want that ! I want to have my family around me, offer them the comfort to feel secure and happy with us, I want to afford all the joy of giving, spoiling, cherishing my loved ones, I want, I want I want….. so many things for now and 2012 !

And YOU want many many things too don’t you ?

Do you know you can have them ?

Do you know How you can get them ?

What are your dreams ? Have you written them down ? Have you made your plans for achieving them ? Do you have a retirement plan?

I take that opportunity these last days of the year, to check with my family and myself, where we get to arrive this fall, and from there where we are going to :

I have plans already, and better, I have many things to add , to bring to them for 2012, including a retirement plan.

I write this today with the purpose to inspire you to define your dreams and draw your way to them, if you miss ideas or clear vision. To me, it’s a lot about retirement , and family, and children.

Here are only my dreams, my vision and my plans that I can share with you, no advice or « you should…, you have too, …you need to…. » yak.

Plus your input is always welcome, I’m a learning addict ! Don’t worry, I take care of that.

SO, here are, all raw, my dreams, my goals, my plans, and once again your ideas are welcome :

My Big dream, – not limited , just growing – is to give back to my loved ones- and I love the world, that’s big too- and to give to children, while having my life. And having my life is : feeling well in my house, with Bruno, my lovely hubby,both on retirement and wealthy

a bigger home, for Mum and us, and friends.

Traveling and be with my friends in Hawaii and family in Europe, and that entails many important details.

My short term goal is : set and decorate a beautiful room for my Mum, so she can spend time with us as long as she likes in Moorea in our beach home, afford for her plane tickets , and mines , with seats in business or first class, help Bruno to make his retirement this fall 2012, give 10 % of my income to Children International and « villages d’enfants » in France. This foundation gives a home and parents to children who have none.

And ta da ! THE plan :

continue working at home, growing my business online with EMPOWER NETWORK, get 4 people per week in my downline for the first quarter, and…. Well I can tell you the maths that I did already, in order to earn 15 K per month by the end of 2012, or earlier !

Beside this, develop my others streams of income, just in case I drop the basket with the eggs. Have others eggs and baskets.

Then I have strategies to put my plans in action, I’ll tell you an other time.

Here is the interesting story, that made me deeply think about my whys in my life, and my network marketing activities:

For those Moms of you, and grand Moms who don’t know yet that show, “Master Chef” is a kind of contest, which is filmed for the TV, it runs on 10 weeks challenges,

The competitors are anyone who is PASSIONATE with cooking and want to bound with this contest to a new life ,living his/her cooking passion.

Out of 26.000 first candidates, 30 are selected for the TV shows challenges, and then 20 are kept after the first week of tests, and then 2 of them are eliminated each week, on the all week of challenges.

Last week, I was watching a recording of the Finale, the 2 best candidates still in the competition, Elizabeth and Xavier. One of the 3 last challenges was to prepare a complete 3 courses gastronomic diner for 30 persons, as if they are cooking in their restaurant.

For help, the 2 candidates were given each 4 “kitchen-commis” , who were the 8 others best “cook” of the show, that competed with them.

So they had to choose one by one the persons who would compose their team, and then give them each the tasks to take care of to achieve the required challenge.

My Tilting point jumped to my face when one of the commis was interviewed, during the test, to comment was was going on on her team side, and she said” ho, I’m so proud to be choosen by Kathy for this finale, I’m giving my best to help her to win, I feel so responsible for her to win, that I do better than I would do for me! Promess!…..”

That young lady was eliminated during the half finale, the week before.

What that yelled at me ?

What hurted so much my ears ?

Do I do as good when it’s for me as when it’s for others ?

The answer that I had put a big light on WHY I had been struggling so long in my businesses, to get results, and even thou I get results, they are still too small for my dreams.

What motivates us ?

Why do we do so much less for ourself than for others ? Aren’t we valuable and deserving too?

I realize that I allow to myself lazyness and « just sufficient » action, to get results, and this attitude leads me to same level results, even thou I believe I am motivated to earn 10 times what I actually earn for now… what a joke, hahaha !

So the motivation is here, but the reasons to be lazy , or make less efforts are stronger….

mmmm. do I have a law self-esteem….?

I decide I would do as if I was really giving my best, for another person, as that’s how it seems to work with human nature. But this time, the other one was THE PERSON THAT I WANT TO BECOME.

Imagine your boss gives you $ 5000 per week to do the tasks that he is supposed to do for starting his online business and put it on hight speed for the next years…

Wouldn’t you spend hours and overcome your fears of anything to get those $5000 by each Saturday , miss nights out with your girl friends, skip a surf session, and stay in your home office instead , all that to do what it takes ? Eliminate interruptions, distractions of your life to achieve the goal determined by your boss ? because you want him to pay you for providing honestly the results he demands.

Asking myself those questions, my answer was « YES I of course I would freaking do it! »

Then what is the smart way to act on this now : be my own boss, and work for this boss !

Thank you Master Chef ! You kicked my but to « just do it » !

Not only I get to watch one of my favorites shows on the TV, but also I get to be conscious about how my attitude needs to switch in order to walk on the road to success.

To all the Moms , Grand Moms, Aunties , who want to succeed in working at home, make a great retirement to spend time cooking for your family and kids, have fun doing what you love , and time for it, that is my recipe of the day :

1- be as demanding for yourself as you are for others,
2- decide today that you have to adopt a discipline for that,
3- make it easier and do-able by choosing the right means and tools for your home business : watch that.
4- Do it !

To BE SUCCESSFUL, BE YOURSELF, what ever are your goals and business.

WHAT EVER YOUR BUSINESS IS, AND WHAT EVER YOUR GOALS ARE, YOUR SUCCESS IS IN BEING YOURSELF

I always stay vigilant to observe along each day the « signs » that pops ups on my way, and aknowledge them and implement what I feel they say to me , follow the directions shown.

This morning, as I was looking for some nice and interesting video to post on my walls, I selected this one here, because it speaks to me a lot :

So first : watch it , till the end, its 5 min only,

Second read below what I see in it that reminds me about how to run my business, which is Network marketing

And third, tell me in your comments down here, what it says to you, and how it helps you.

ha! Now, what did I see in it, and what else made me see that as a sign to write this post about it today?

A second insight popped up then, after I posted this video, I went to read and comment a blog post of a friend of my team in EN , and although this post looks to me excellent for SEO, it looks also terrible for interesting people to who is the author of it, and how does it relate to me….

Here is now my point :

From finding today, in the same period of time , this video, and I went to this friends’ blog, I what amazed to feel the exact opposite of what I felt during that video:

this marketer was “marketing” in his post, not “being “himself really, and the purpose of the post, that is to give valuable content, was 5 % , beside the exposure of the product promoted was 95%.

This is the reverse proportion of what we want to do her in our posts.

Then after I read this blog post, I feel that I need to help my team with Empower Network, as they are newbies at blogging, and so helpful in the team already with many skills.

Here are my ideas, from both those « pops » :

What ever your business is, as a marketer, a networker, an MLMer, a gardener, a driver, a physican, a waiter, an architect, any other,

If you want to succeed at what you do BE YOURSELF.

Put all your talent, your personality, your uniqueness in what you do.

Do NOT try do do the same way as anyone,

It’s not ABOUT WHAT you do, it’s ABOUT HOW you do it.

And this dog shows us perfectly that principle :

Its about being of SERVICE, and how he does it is HIS WAY, very different than the way of others service dogs do….. and well, SEE THE RESULTS !

Lets do the same buddies, in our Network Marketing venture, be of service with our Empower Network tools, and GROW with it, each one his/her OWN WAY.

1-Directly choose a WordPress.org blog platform. No question, that’s the one you want to go efficient, fast, easy, professional.

2- Choose your blog’s URL and title with this in mind : it has to tell precisely to the reader what he’ll find in your blog,
example : my URL : »imoremoneywithlesswork.com », tells you about freedom, time-wise and financially-wise….And it has keywords.
A title like » Freedom with Brigitte » doesn’t mean clear purposes like more money and less work.
If you want to put your name in the Title, you will have to use it as a keyword in your posts.

3- Choose a template and background congruent with WHO you are and WHAT you want to market.
Important, you want to find the same recurrent theme in your others medias : on Twitter, on YouTube, in your e-mails images and signatures, everywhere you show your brand.

4- Create an opt-in form that will appear on every single page of your blog. By definition, it has to offer some very valuable free gift – a video course, an e-book with tutorials inside, anything that gives information that your prospect wants- and it has to be managed with a good autoresponder .

5- learn and implement syndication, and SEO : you’ll find courses in our Marketing System, that are appropriate and easy to use. Also you have plenty of short tutorials in youtube sites. Although they can’t be more than 10 min long , some are quite useful and can tell you very good tricks.

6- Use the recommended plug-ins . (find a tutorial, or watch the videos in your system back-office )

7- start posting now, and make this task daily , or at least 3 times weekly. Write a 300 word-ish article, make a video to present it , post the all blog, and link it everywhere on your Social media.
Very important : be congruent, consistent, bring value, and CTA=Call To Action, at the end of each post.

WHY I BUY NETWORK MARKETING PRODUCTS

I buy Network Marketing products because the Network Marketing Industry is the new layer of Economy, that is about the PEOPLE

I believe the great leaders and entrepreneurs of this century, when they preach for the Network Marketing industry: Robert Kyiosaki, Richard Branson, Bill Gates, Donald Trump, etc… they all are owners of or endorse at least one Network Marketing Company. There are several good reasons for that.

Regarding our concerns, I like to do what successful people do, and I believe that I ‘d better follow the steps taken by the people who are where I want to be.

Network marketing, or Relationship Marketing Companies allow individuals to buy Entrepreneurs or Companies rights and sell the products on their behalf.
Not only can these Business Builders sell products and get paid commissions, but they can hire on new Business Builders to sell the products as well.
This allows the driven and motivated ACTION TAKING Entrepreneur to develop a Network of Customers and Distributors purchasing their products monthly….

Is Network Marketing legal? YES! lol
What should not be legal is when hard working individuals have committed 50+ years to a Company and get left out in the cold worrying about how to support themselves as they are supposed to retire.
Build and Network with a SOLID Company (Not one of those fly by the seat of their pant start up companies) once, the correct way, and create an income for your family for the rest of your life.
Not only can you create a financial fence around your family for the future but also you are creating time freedom, to actually enjoy your family and financial freedom.

Are the products in the industry more expensive than in retail stores? YES and NO!

The companies that sells their products through MLM, or Network marketing have to solve 2 issues: because they are distributing through direct selling, their products are not visible in stores by the public, so they pay people fro marketing another way. So that makes the price of the product even , compared to the store-price.
The competition to beat is the second issue: to fight this, the companies develop more searches and innovation on their products , and hence QUALITY.
I can tell that the price of a same quality product is most of the time equivalent in store or by direct sales. The difference is that generally, the quality of MLM companies product is much better than good quality regular distribution product.

Adding to that, the fact that it helps people to make good money , and create their lifestyle, buying a Network Marketing product has become OBVIOUS to me!
for my own quality of life.
